About This Project
A major milestone in my professional career was the position as cluster director conference & events of the four new 5 * properties for Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in Dubai.
The four hotels Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel, The Royal Amwaj, Oceana Resort & Spa and Hotel Deira consisted of a total of 1,248 rooms, 19 restaurants & bars and 26 conference rooms.
In my role at the time, I was responsible for the entire strategy, conception, organization, implementation and project management in the following areas: opening, events (MICE), sales & marketing, public relations, price structure and turnover management, personnel management, guidelines, company standards.
Due to my many years of experience, I was nominated by the Mövenpick company headquarters for a worldwide “Meetings & Events” project. The task was to develop a new concept for the MICE area with a team of experts and to implement it in all Mövenpick hotels (110 worldwide).
