Intercontinental Hotel Abu Dhabi

About This Project

Culturally, this was a completely new experience for me. I had the pleasure to work with over 38 nationalities.

The "InterContinental" hotel consisted of 390 rooms, 8 restaurants, 25 event rooms. It was completely renovated in 2006 for US $ 65 million and reopened in 2007.

In my position as Director of Events, Sales & Marketing and PR, I was responsible for the entire strategy, conception, organization, implementation, project management and reopening.

In addition, I was nominated by "InterContinental Hotels & Resorts" for a worldwide Meetings & Events project. The task was to develop a new concept for the MICE area with a team of experts and to implement it in all hotels worldwide.
